Art curator/company Saatchi has just given everyone a new reason to look forward to tomorrow. With the collaboration of one hundred different art curators around the globe, Saatchi is offering the 100 Curators 100 Days collection, where each curator will be displaying a collection of bodies of work specific to that day.

100 Curators 100 Days is a spotlight on the talents of emerging artists from all around the world. It was initially developed by Rebecca Wilson, Director of the Saatchi Gallery in London. For the remaining 98 days of this exhibit, works will be selected by curators from the most prestigious museums and galleries from all over the world. The first two curators to offer specifically selected exhibits are Tobia Bezzola and Britt Salvesen.

Tobia Bezzola has organized a multitude of exhibitions with artists of many disciplines. This particular collectionfocuses exclusively on photography. He writes extensively for books, catalogs, and focuses on modern and contemporary art and photography.

Britt Salvesen’s collection marked the first day of 100 Curators 100 Days.  As the Department Head of the Prints and Drawings department, and of the Wallis Annenberg Photography Department at LACMA, Britt’s selection is a very eclectic mix of installations, photography and paintings. She is also a historian of modern art and photography.
